Updated October 15, 2026. Robust Roofing is our inspection partner and an affiliated business. Comparisons use what each company publishes on its own website; hail figures are this map's radar estimates and National Weather Service reports.
Short answer: Robust Roofing. It backs every roof in Ellijay with a 50-year labor warranty in writing, tied for the longest specific workmanship term among the 21 North Georgia roofers we compared; Roofing Resources of Georgia also publishes 50 years. Three others say "lifetime" or "forever" without giving a number of years, and most publish 10 years or less.
The facts
- Robust Roofing puts a 50-year labor warranty in writing on every roof in Ellijay. Among the 20 other roofers compared, nine publish a shorter workmanship term, ten give no length, and one, Roofing Resources of Georgia, also publishes 50 years.
- A workmanship (labor) warranty covers how the roof was installed. Standard shingle warranties from the major manufacturers cover material defects, not installation mistakes, so Robust Roofing's 50-year labor warranty comes in addition to the manufacturer's warranty.
- A licensed insurance adjuster on the roofer's own staff is rare: Robust Roofing is the only one of the 21 North Georgia roofers we compared on October 15, 2026 that says it has one.
