What hail this size does to a roof
Golf ball size hail and larger breaks shingle mats, cracks tile and dents metal roofing, gutters and siding. Roofs in the core of a swath like this are often replaced. That was about 1.5 years ago. Policies set deadlines for reporting a loss and for lawsuits, so check yours before assuming an older storm can still be claimed. Damage from it can still matter when a newer storm hits.
