What hail this size does to a roof
Half dollar to ping pong ball size hail commonly bruises asphalt shingles, knocks granules loose and dents gutters, vents and downspouts. That was about 3.2 years ago. Policies set deadlines for reporting a loss and for lawsuits, so check yours before assuming an older storm can still be claimed. Damage from it can still matter when a newer storm hits.
